Mark C. Montag, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal specialist at Ophthalmology Physicians & Surgeons, PC, where he currently works with patients at the offices in Blue Bell and Hatboro, Pennsylvania. He brings nearly 25 years of ophthalmology experience to the tight-knit practice.
Passionate about science and medicine, Dr. Montag graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. He later went on to complete his medical school training at the same university, where he became a proud member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Montag completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida.
Dr. Montag continued his educational training with a specialty fellowship in retina-vitreous at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He has since been board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is currently affiliated with Frankford Bucks Hospital. His areas of expertise include LASIK surgery, macular degeneration, blindness, cataracts, eye pain, eye exams, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
