Guy Brignola, OD, is a board-certified optometrist treating patients in and around Trappe, Blue Bell, and Spring House, Pennsylvania, at Ophthalmology Physicians & Surgeons, PC. He has been practicing as an optometrist in the Philadelphia area for nearly 20 years, bringing extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses, preoperative evaluations, and post-operative care to the practice.

A graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Brignola went on to receive his master’s degree at Villanova University near Philadelphia. It was then that he decided to continue his education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where he earned his optometry doctorate. Not only did Dr. Brignola graduate with clinical honors, but he also received the Philadelphia County Optometric Society Award at graduation.

Dr. Brignola went on to undergo optometry clinical training at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the Wilmington VA Medical Center in Wilmington, Pennsylvania, Broward Eyecare in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the Eye Surgery Center of Louisiana.

In addition to this extensive training, he served as a member of the Student Optometric Service to Humanity, participating in volunteer medical missions and providing medical and refractive eye care in remote villages in Guatemala and Belize.

Since 2001, Dr. Brignola has served as a Salus University clinical faculty member, providing clinical education to third- and fourth-year optometry students at Ophthalmology Physicians & Surgeons’ two office locations. An integral member of the Philadelphia community, Dr. Brignola has treated professional athletes and television and radio personalities from the Philadelphia 76ers, NBC10, Action News, Fox29, Comcast, and WXPN.
