Important Announcement: We've partnered with ReFocus Eye Health to best focus on providing the best patient care possible. Of course, our doctors and staff will remain the same but our name, logo, and website will be updated as we integrate with the ReFocus family of eye clinics. This will not affect your appointments or your patient experience in the least.

Important Annoucement: Our Blue Bell clinic is now closed. All patients from that office will be seen at our state-of-the-art North Wales location, where they can expect the same caliber of exceptional eye care and patient experience. This location is only 6 miles away and has ample parking.

Eye Diseases

Treatment for A Full Range of Eye Diseases

Cataracts

Cataracts are one of the most common eye diseases that we treat, with more than half of Americans over age 65 suffering from clouded lenses. Through cataract surgery, we can remove the clouded lens and replace it with an artificial intraocular lens. We perform both traditional and laser surgeries.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a serious condition that occurs when pressure in the eye builds, damaging the optic nerve. Although there is no cure for glaucoma, and your doctor cannot restore vision that has already been lost, early detection and careful monitoring can help protect your eyesight.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Elevated blood sugar from diabetes can damage the blood vessels in the retina, causing impaired sight or even vision loss. We offer several forms of treatment, including laser therapy to stop blood leakage and shrink enlarged vessels, and vitrectomy to remove scar tissue from the middle of the eye.

Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is a common condition among older adults, affecting the macula, the central part of the retina that allows you to see fine details. Symptoms of macular degeneration include blurred vision, blind spots, haziness, and difficulties distinguishing color.

Retinal Detachment

As you age, it is normal for the vitreous fluid in the inner eye to thicken and shrink. This can cause the vitreous fluid to pull away from the retina, tearing it in one or more places and increasing your risk for complete retinal detachment. We can repair torn retinas with laser surgery.
