General Information
An eye care emergency can occur at any time. We assure you that we will respond to your problem promptly and effectively. If you suspect that a problem is developing, we ask you to notify us as early in the day as possible. This will enable us to give you the prompt, personal attention you may require. Should our office be closed, you can receive instructions by calling the Ophthalmology Physicians & Surgeons, PC office closest to you. A message will play giving our answering service’s phone number. They will take your message and contact the physician on call. Your call will be returned promptly.

The appointment schedule for each physician varies. You should schedule an appointment to ensure time will be reserved for us to assist your personal vision needs. We make every effort to see you at your scheduled appointment time. Occasionally, emergencies may cause us to fall behind schedule. Whenever possible we will notify you if there is a delay. If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice. Calls for prescription refills are best made during office hours when your chart is available to us. Please have your pharmacy’s telephone number ready before calling us.
Our day, evening and Saturday hours, are designed to accommodate our patient’s busy schedules. A physician is available in the office everyday except Sunday. Appointments can be scheduled during office hours by calling the appropriate office location telephone number.
We are participating physicians in a number of insurance plans that include Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medicare. For Medicare and BC/BS patients, we will be happy to submit your bill on covered services. We also participate in a number of other HMO's and managed care plans.
